XT2000™ Orange Oil
XT-2000 Orange Oil Plus™ commissioned an efficacy study of orange oil by Dr. Rudolf H. Scheffrahn, an entomologist at the University of Florida. Dr. Scheffrahn treated trunks and branches of trees with active termite galleries, and observed: “None of the water-treated members contained any dead individuals, whereas members treated with orange oil yielded a total mean mortality of 97.4%.”
ORANGE OIL EXPERTS
Orange oil wicks deeper into wood than traditional methods for thorough termite treatment.
Traditional spot treatment methods to eliminate pests only treat termite galleries (the main gathering place deep in the wood). At SMART Pest Prevention, our Orange Oil technique saturates the infested wood up to 30 inches deep.
At SMART Pest Prevention, we use Termatrac radar and laser detection technology, acoustic monitoring, and traditional termite inspection methods to pinpoint termite colonies to find and eliminate infestations.
All of our technicians are factory-trained by the manufacturer of the orange oil we use, and have an average of 18 years of industry experience.

Insects that come into contact with the SMART Shield are eliminated before they can reproduce. This protects the interior of your home or office using a variety of methods such as exclusion, baiting, and trapping to protect the exterior.
Place insect baits in cracks, cervices, plumbing entry points, and under major appliances. Spray aerosol or liquid insecticides, on an as-needed basis, based on level of infestation.
Drill, dust and fill wall voids with an industrial desiccant (drying agent) that is completely safe to people and pets. Dust attics and enclosed crawl spaces with the same material. (The material will be applied in liquid suspension for exposed crawl spaces.)
Dust external cracks and crevices; apply environmentally responsible liquid and granular insecticides, as needed.
